What is Push to students?

Use Push to send assignments to your students.

After starting a class, you can see a button that says Push. What do its options do?

Push to students (all pages)

This option will remove all of your students' whiteboard pages, and replace them with all of your whiteboard pages. Pages are added and removed with the + and - buttons.

Using this option, students will be able to edit the content you've added onto the page, and draw their own shapes. Students can clear the page.

Push to students (current page only)

This option will remove all of your students' whiteboard pages, and replace them with your currently selected whiteboard page (the page which is highlighted in yellow).

Using this option, students will be able to edit the content you've added onto the page, and draw their own shapes. Students can clear the page.

Push to students as background (current page only)

This option will remove all of your students' whiteboard pages, and replace them with your currently selected whiteboard page (the page which is highlighted with yellow) as a background.

Using this option, students will not be able to edit the content which you've added onto the page, but can draw their own shapes and other content on top of it. The students' Eraser tool will not erase your drawings, but the students can clear the page.

This option is ideal for creating assignments where students need to fill in their answers, but you don't want your students to edit other parts of the page.

How do I push to an individual student?

You can also push your board to an individual student by clicking on the student's board, then clicking on Actions and choosing one of the Push teacher whiteboard to student options.
