How do I turn off auto-renewal for my subscription?

Enable or disable auto-renewal through the Billing Portal.

  • After signing up for a teacher account containing a free trial period
    When you sign up for a teacher account, the subscription will automatically renew as a Premium subscription after the end of the trial period. The credit card information submitted upon registering will be used for the monthly recurring charges.
    You can turn off auto-renewal from the Teacher Dashboard.
  • After license purchase
    When you subscribe to a Whiteboard.fi Basic Plan or Premium Plan, the subscription will automatically renew monthly or annually, depending on which plan you selected upon the initial license purchase.
    • If you are the intended user of the subscription license:
      You can turn off auto-renewal from the Teacher Dashboard.
    • If you are not the user of the subscription license linked to a teacher account (administrator, principal, etc.)
      You can turn off auto-renewal via the email sent upon license purchase, containing the link to the billing portal.

Turning off auto-renewal

You can turn off auto-renewal in your Billing Portal, which is accessible via the Teacher Dashboard, or via the email containing the link to the billing portal sent upon license purchase.

From the Billing Portal, click on Cancel plan to turn off auto-renewal.

If you turn off auto-renewal by clicking on Cancel plan, you will still be able to use your subscription license and its features until the end of the billing period.

To renew your plan after auto-renewal has been turned off, click on Renew plan on the Billing Portal to enable auto-renewal and renew your subscription automatically at the end of the billing period.

How do I access the Billing Portal from the Teacher Dashboard?

To access the Billing Portal via the Teacher Dashboard, first navigate to the Teacher Dashboard from the front page:

Then, click on the License tab:

On the License page, click on the Manage license button to open up the sub-menu.

Then click Manage subscription at Billing Portal.

This view may look different depending on your subscription plan and license type.

 
If you are unable to access the Manage subscription at Billing Portal directly, you can also do so via first pressing List all my licenses and then pressing Manage Subscription from the EDIT drop-down menu.
